i painted my grill with DBU 35371 base coat and clear coated it with DCU 2060 flexed and flat clear coat.
i parked my car next to a restored 72 road runner, restored by aloha auto, at a aloha car show about 7 years ago. the color of grills were a exact match between the 2 cars.

A boat, a GMC truck, some Craftsman Tools, LOTS of Zombie Protection, and a few Goldfish..

Definitely not any standard argent silver as compared to the NOS pieces I started with. I did find a close match, details here . The NOS, in oringinal box, grille “mesh” I found was painted a dark gray.
