Why do you need to bush the lifters? I have been running Mopars (Big Blocks)for 25 years and never had any bushed. I had some Big Time Mopar people that run and built a lot of SS Hemis and they never bushed any of mine or told me they needed to be bushed.
As I stated above I have my Maxx aluminum block in the machine shop now should I have them bushed?
I may have been doing wrong for the past 25 years,but don't want to keep doing things wrong.
Everyone on here seems to know what they are talking about,so that is why I asked on this post. THANKS!!!

My bores are pitted from the block sitting for a long time. (Got it that way) The cylinder bores will clean up at .030 but the lifer bores look bad.
