It was data analysis that caught them - no one is that good and that was proven this was accomplished shortly after the incremental timers came out - there was a mountain of evidence from several tracks and not one appealed the conviction - it's old news and a long time ago - let it go. Connelly is a good driver - just got caught up in something his dad was responsible for unfortunately he will pay for the that the rest of his career.

A Matty box is still legal as long as it is not used in competition.

I've personally spoken to at least a dozen people who knew "exactly" what Matty and company were up to, and what a Matty Box really did. I've gotten at least 12 different stories too.

I also find it interesting that so many people knew what was going on and didn't tell a soul. If someone was stealing money out of my pocket I'd damn sure been squawking loud and hard.

I've also heard that Bader covered for them as until Matty got in dutch at the 5 day.

In reality there was less hard evidence against the Dirty Dozen than there was against Wayne County, but that's another dead horse issue.

You can make a RacePak do way more things than a Matty if you're good, and hide it right in plain sight.

I was thinking that maybe there was something else going on affecting him in the Pro Cars I know a lot of car owners like to win, when a good driver can win races on his driving skill it is unusual for them to sit back and not get any offers, even in a Pro Mod car All input appreciated, Thanks

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Quick young guns sitting due to lack of funding. Period.
Didnt quite like to face it till told point blank. Guys with big cash and less skill gonna drive thier toys on race day regardless of outcome. They out playing, having good time, win or lose spending thier millions for fun.
If I had millions to blow, I'd do the same thing.
Just didnt realize it till late and some frank talk.
Take some of the interest out for me? Sure did.

So Mr. P because Dave beat your brother he must have been cheating? Must be the same for anyone that is just good at what they do?
Must be how Dave made it to pro stock, because he cheated so well
Maybe thats why he is still out there winning now

No not it at all.... just WAY to many PERFECT runs
in a row when he could have let off and showed some
variance in his runs.... he was good... but NO WHERE
NEAR THAT GOOD... to string that many PERFECT runs
together... specially with the changing conditions
and he didnt even change his dial..... JMO
