That's a really nice car and it's always a hard decision but a couple years ago I decided it was time to let my sand toys go. I had a REALLY fast sand car that I built from the ground up back in 1978. Spent all my waking hours working on that thing and it was really a part of me. When the day came and I decided it was time there were no regrets.

Down the road if your whole life changes and you decide to race again there'll be another car.

I pitted next to a 69 year old guy last weekend at Madras Dragstrip (he had a mopar ) that didn't even START racing until he was 65.

Often wondered why you need to go real fast to have fun?I keep the one car to go to the track and in general have fun my cousins etc all spent ton's of money on engines etc and blew them up I just get into my car drive 55 mile sto track with gears and all run and return just for the fun of it!
