383 man, 451ci with stage six heads, 550 lift on a roller cam with comp roller tip rockers, compression about 11-1 street dominator intake with holley 950 hp series carb. mated to a turbo 400 and 3400 stall convert. ford 9" 430 gear. ladder bar rear with coil overs. it's best is 6.89 @ 99 mph. took it out last night and it ran between 6.93 to 6.97 at 97 mph. those are 1/8th times of corse. i've never quarted it. shifts at 6200 rpm. i'm in the process of a new 528 ci aluminum block with victor max wedges reworked by brian hafliger at IMM. 4.150 X 4.500 bore. it will be completed by the end of this year.
