Do these cars have the Drag Pak hood on them? I saw one sitting at Phelan's in Countryside last week.
Same hood as the regular chally and the R/T but has 3.92 rear gear with the 6-sp plus a few other tid bits

They have a B5 blue SRT/track pack in stock at my dealer. It was a 6 spd, top of the line stero, loaded to the gills.
What was the price? I talked to a guy with a SRT Challenger in a parking lot one day. It was loaded, and he said it was $45k !~*&#
Do the six-speeds have the wheel hop problem I heard about posted here?

Yes, they do. Big horsepower potential, but heavy and I don't think the driveline can handle both big horsepower and heavy weight. Awesome road car, which I think they are more suited and geared towards.

They weigh nearly the same as a 70 Chevelle SS 454. Did people complain about the weight of those cars back then

Price seems high, but they had a 2010 Cummins dually, it was 55k. They had a bunch of 2500 diesels, the cheapest one was 40k. So ALL new cars cost big bucks. A buddy was telling me there is a 575hp new camaro (some special package??) at a local dealer and it was sitting next to a new vette. The vette was 55k and the camaro was 75k
That Camaro must be supercharged, and the dealer did it themselves because the ZR1 powered Camaro Z28 isn't out yet and wont be until 2012 or something like that.
By then the 2011 6.4L Challenger SRT8 will be out, with 500+HP and cost substantially less.

big cube last year i said the hell with it i ordered a 2009 white r/t 5.7 6 speed! i love the car, at the time did not have the money for it, took a loan and paid it off in a year, worth every penny and then sum!!! it ran 13.62 @ 104.00 the very first pass it weighed 4190# with me in it, if i could have hooked the car i bet it would go 12.80's...
JUST GO BUY ONE!!!
My Goat weighs 4100 w/me in it, and it is a lot smaller than a Challenger.
All the IRS cars seem to have the wheel hop issue. One supposed cure is to install a larger diameter axle on one side to kill harmonics that cause wheel hop.

I was told last night it was a dealer add on similar to the Yenko's. I did a little googling and it must be a SLP. Here's a link .

Well, the "desirable" ones are big bucks. The auto companies must really make some profit on them. For example, a bottom of the line Challenger is around $22,000, hemi $32,000, SRT $40-45. Same with the pickup trucks; you can get a bare bones gas pickup for less than half the cushy, diesel pickup. EDIT MSRP from http://www.automotive.com/2010/12/dodge/challenger/pricing/index.html2010 Challenger SE RWD 2-Dr Coupe V6 $22,735 2010 Challenger R/T RWD 2-Dr Coupe V8 $30,860 2010 Challenger SRT8 RWD 2-Dr Coupe V8 $41,230 Plus add options to the SRT8 and get to $45k. That is double the base model. Are there 2 cars there? LOL And a pickup example: 2010 F-150 Styleside 2WD 2-Dr Reg Cab Long V8 $25,875 2010 F-350 Super Duty 4WD 4-Dr Crew Cab Long V8 $43,805 plus for diesel add: [44B] Electronic 5-Speed TorqShift Automatic (Diesel) - $1,490 [99R] 6.4L Powerstroke Diesel V-8 - $7,210 Total: ~$52,500
