I am under a confidentialty agreement with Chrysler and this isn't a forum I'm willing to discuss my business affairs on.

Come out to the car party on the 22nd of this month Tim, I have a drivers side shield we made I can show you.

I usually don't post in the middle of this kind of thing but the only logical reason to give Chrysler royalties on a part, and have a more expensive retail item in the end, is if the part number or logos are clearly visible when the car is done. If you reproduced a crankshaft and paid to have the PN cast in it and it will never be seen after the oil pan is on would it be worth the extra money? Waste of resources in my opinion. Or am I off base?

You are absolutely correct! No need to to use a superior product that could possibly contrast or expose other shortcomings! It might actually make other areas of the interior to appear amateur at best!

Come on guys get real, there are plenty of excellent originals around for the OE type car. Pretty much every one I have seen is plastered with undercoating covering the part number anyway.

And if you take the undercoating off the plastic will be nice shape because the undercoating protected it... But I guess that would take some time and effort.

you're kidding on the time and effort part, I hope you are not suggesting that I am a lazy person .....thats my point, that plenty of very good originals are available if one is concerned about the part number/pentastar and they usually should be REundercoated anyway.

Slow down, I'm agreeing with you.

And was just noting that if they do have undercoating, that will actually protect the plastic underneath. That was a general statement, not directed at you.

Does anyone reproduce the E-Body door jamb fender shields (2955554 & 2955555) with the correct markings? Thanks!

I just found these items in the new PG Classic's catalog. part number #276-R and list for $195.00pr.

As with other PG Classic's parts they will most likely have the part numbers but the pentastar will be removed.

I don't know if they're available yet, but you could try calling or emailing them

WOW, how smart are you? You know more about my business than I do. I think you should get a set sent to you so you can show how smart you are.

The driver side was scanned and the solid model was mirrored over for the passenger side. So there is a new tool being made as I write for the correct passanger side.

Mike, I'm not sure what you're referring too

My above posts are answering the original poster's question about current availability of a reproduction part.

Yesterday I was very surprised when I saw these parts listed in PG Classic's newest catalog that I got in the mail.

I didn't think they were available yet, but according to the email reply I received this morning it seems as if they are.

That's all.

Not sure what that has to do with you, or how smart I am

Not sure what you're missing here, I said they were not done yet earlier in the post.

Will be ordering these when released! Do these suit Challenger and Cuda or are they different?

Will the front headlight shields for Challengers be released also

Part # 2998046 RH and 2998047 LH because if you need 1 you'll probably need the other.
