My son and I are planning to come down for the day Saturday depending on how my mom is doing. Going to call TW69bee and see if he wants to go also. Here's a pic of me and my dad w/ his '67 GTO (I weighed 311 lbs. then- now I'm 245) and that is TW69bees truck behind me.

I plan on showing up Sunday morning with the van.

I wish I could be there. However, I just found out that I have to go to England and Germany for the next three weeks. I do come home four days before Bowling Green though.

Thanks Stewart. I'll miss being there too. I'd much rather be in Valdasta than on the othe side of the Atlantic!

I'm really concerned about the volcano in Iceland messing up my Bowling Green plans. I was asked to be one of the Judges for the Holley Hotrod tour show and I just want to be able to make it home on time for that!

not real happy about things changing this year. no tnt on friday and the tnt on saturday you have to pay an extra $25 for 2 hours. no pay out on the arm drop race. whats next? I think this will start a decline in what was a growing event.

Ya gotta look at it this way - we're lucky to have it at all because the track had to take it over in order to have it again! They obviously have faith in the event, but they are taking a gamble. I'm also disappointed that there is no T&T on Friday and eliminations start late Saturday. But that was probably done for budget reasons along with the other changes. If we want it to continue, we have to support it and make it worthwhile for the track. It's better to be patient with a few cuts now and hope it can slowly recover (like the rest of the country) with more classes and sponsors later, than for them to stick their neck out too far now and drop the event all together.

No pay out in Arm Drop why bother having it then? Doesn't make any sense.

but they shouldn't be soakin you for an extra $25 for TNT and I dont know about the rest of you but I doubt I would run the arm drop for $0 dollars that doesn't make much sense to use fuel ware and tare on car and tires for a big goose egg.
