1300HP at only 6200 on the first sheet
Hey, if I was going to have 1300 HP with a stock block I would rather have it at 6200 rpm vs 7000 rpm. I like the #1 pull best mike
not really 1100ft lbs at 6200 is a lot worse on a block than 997 at 6900.
he has a lot of bottom end work done.i am just saying it has to be pritty strong.

WTG, to all..btw, who won the contest? I was off by about 60 hp, guessed 1400.
ps, how bad was the oil pressure with no groove, I will have to check that as I'm not sure my builder put one in either.
Oil pressure was fine even without the grove, it was just starving the rocker gear.
Are you running b-1s?
Sledgehammer threw out a almost dead nuts on 1320...he is the winner!!!!!
Tell him what he won Vanna!!!!

Josh. Congrats on what looks like getting your engine reliable. If I were there, you would just be getting home about now. I'm sure you heard I like to talk.LOL Wish I could've been there. The job I was doing took way too long, then the sections for Scott were unloaded after 3, so That would have put me there around 5. With 4 kids under 4, and me leaving for almost a week next week, I have to choose my battles wisely. Sorry. I'll make it up to you , somehow.. Sounds like you had all hands working while you were there, anyway. That dyno room is kinf of smallish, and with all of you bodybuilders in there, I would have been just a fly on the wall anyway.. Congrats..
Its ok Rich, we had a lot easier time with you not there to defend yourself from our banter!!!! hahahahahaha

Just curious king, you stated the wastegate was set up for 30lbs of boost on the 1st pull....just wonder why so much boost...how much boost on the other runs....I imagine you were measuring boost under the carb...any data would be great....
Also no reason not to be able to go ahead and lay the power down to the tires at the track.
65 Barracuda All aluminum Indy HEMI with some boost! COMING TO A TRACK NEAR YOU!
