Well guys, the motor is in one piece and made good power, but not without the help of one of the finest individuals in the industry.
Scott Koffel was nothing short of 1st class as always. We had hurdle after hurdle (caused by yours truly) and Scott and Dale thrashed to the very end to make this happen for me. We had a few small issues, needle and seats in the rear float bowl wouldnt effin work. Bypass regulator took some reworking to be able to use with his fuel system, and then the the big one, after warming up the engine and pulling the valve covers off, scott realized the cam I had bought and installed didnt have a oiling grove cut on #4 journal and the pulse oiling wasnt enough....tear it down we did, pulled the cam, Scott precisely machined a grove in the cam and we put it back together. The results are damn good in my opinion. We made great power and gobs of torques effortlessly. I am uploading the videos to youtube now... but we made over 1300hp and 1100 ft lbs of torque, and never went over 7000 rpm or 30 degrees of timing. I will work on scanning dyno sheets in a little bit, but heres a few, others are still uploading, but I will post links as they finish.

Bill your right. On that pull the gate was set at 30lbs of boost. Just a touch to much for me. It was also at 25 degrees timing. I'm not sure what she would have made if it would have been a full pull with 30lbs 30 degrees timing and 7000 rpm...

Josh. Congrats on what looks like getting your engine reliable. If I were there, you would just be getting home about now. I'm sure you heard I like to talk.LOL Wish I could've been there. The job I was doing took way too long, then the sections for Scott were unloaded after 3, so That would have put me there around 5. With 4 kids under 4, and me leaving for almost a week next week, I have to choose my battles wisely. Sorry. I'll make it up to you , somehow.. Sounds like you had all hands working while you were there, anyway. That dyno room is kinf of smallish, and with all of you bodybuilders in there, I would have been just a fly on the wall anyway..
