I saw your other post and now this one and although some run hard w/ss springs, I`d save my coin and get Cal-Tacs and b done with it. It`s the LAST set of springs you`ll ever need and the quickest on the planet hands down + you can pick the ride height you`d like and use lowering blocks to dial it in if needed.

I put SS springs on my 71 Duster back around 1995. In my opiinion, they haven't sagged down a bit after all this time. I used to run the stock 14 inch rallye wheels and I thought the ride height looked okay. A year or so ago, I got bored with stock stuff and decided to start modifying the car. First on the list was wheels and tires. I got a good deal on a set of polished Centerlines. However, when I installed the Centerlines with taller rear tires, I thought the ride height just looked rediculous. So I flipped the front spring mounts to lower the ride height. I think it looks a lot better like this, but it has caused some issues. Once in a while the tires will rub the quarters. Trimmed the lip on the driver's side and installed a pinion snubber to limit travel. Also, the pinion angle will clearly need to be addressed. See the picture that I put together. The bottom two pictures are from after I flipped the front mounts.

THANKS guys!!!!!! What makes some cars have the rears high in the air and some cars look normal??
My guess...
A-body too high = SS springs with front mount normal.
A-body normal = SS springs with front mount flipped.
B-body too high = SS springs with front mount in lower hole.
B-body normal = SS springs with front mount in upper hole.
E-bodies = I don't know. Never had one, but I imagine they are like the B-bodies.

Here's mine... It was the first day out of paint and I had the torsion bars cranked up WAY too much in front, so it might not help you see the difference. I'll see if I can find a more recent photo for you...
is that a four wheel drive
