You confuse me. First you assume how your car`s going to act based on how they "feel" in your hands then you state they`re for sale based on that ASSUMPTION or, did you try them and not like em then they HAVE been out of the garage.....which is it?

I dont need to make a pass down the track with them when I can bounce the car in the garage easier then I could with the koni's set on soft.

The soft extension will be great, I already know that. But I got on the binders hard at 140 mph the other week and hit the bump stops on the lower control arms HARD.

I need more compression dampening.

I hear what you`re saying............however I`ve seen a few cars, mine included that were a bit " bouncy" but handled well after a run on the brakes. Guess maybe you know your car well enuff to make that call.

My 3800# ride handles just fine stopping from 140 mph w/ the Calvert front shocks.

I've considered changing out my CE 3 ways for the Calvert 90/10s but think I'll save my money and buy a good set of double adjustables. My Dart has gone 1.41 60' with the CEs on MT ET Street Radials.

I really like mine. I ran a new best in sig with a 1.440 short time. Weight transfer in my truck is critical due to the front weight bias so it really helped me. They are less streetable due to their quick rise so be careful.

Ok, all these great posts on here and I figured why not. I just orderd a set 2 days ago and now I see all the "not worth it" posts. guess it won't be the first time I wasted money. they should be here soon.

i tried mine at the track a couple of weeks ago for the first time, and they worked as advertised. best 60 ft (by a tiny bit). we have a short shut down, and there was no problem standing on the brakes. i had comp engineering 3 ways, and actually managed to get them adjusted such that they almost felt like 90/10s, but the calverts are definitely a step up. i'll keep 'em, thanks. ditching them before trying them is stupid, sorry.

Ron,don't judge them until you try them out! Everyone's car handles different. They were a BIG improvement over BOTH the CE 3-Way,and Lakewood 90/10 shock! Also..they're fine on the street! And our streets up here SUK!!! RandyB

That was my original point about the "bounce test" as a way of determining the quality of a shock...........but, to each his own. The track is my ultimate test.....always has been always will be even more than dynos.

yup. remember, too, that the shocks are prolly shipped horizontal, and the oil has settled along the length of the shock. it'll take some cycles to settle the oil ime.

For the price I think they are worth a try. The front definitely rises quicker with these shocks compared to the old C/E 3 ways. It's not a fair comparison though, since we've gone to heim jointed uppers and strut bars. These also take some of the binding away compared to poly bushes. Hopefully the weather will hold out over here so I can actually try them this weekend. I'll post if theres any improvements.

I gotcha, I should know May 8th when I run a local Moapr race. I just have the cheap summit 3-way adjustables on it now. they have been on there for a few years.

Thanks

IMO..nothing at all wrong with the 3 way CE's at all, i agree with you. The adjustments on them actually adjust( if that makes sense).

I went 9.80's with a 1.34 60 foot with them on leafs with my ex car, they work just fine
