I dont need to make a pass down the track with them when I can bounce the car in the garage easier then I could with the koni's set on soft.
The soft extension will be great, I already know that. But I got on the binders hard at 140 mph the other week and hit the bump stops on the lower control arms HARD.
I need more compression dampening.

My 3800# ride handles just fine stopping from 140 mph w/ the Calvert front shocks.

I really like mine. I ran a new best in sig with a 1.440 short time. Weight transfer in my truck is critical due to the front weight bias so it really helped me. They are less streetable due to their quick rise so be careful.

i tried mine at the track a couple of weeks ago for the first time, and they worked as advertised. best 60 ft (by a tiny bit). we have a short shut down, and there was no problem standing on the brakes. i had comp engineering 3 ways, and actually managed to get them adjusted such that they almost felt like 90/10s, but the calverts are definitely a step up. i'll keep 'em, thanks. ditching them before trying them is stupid, sorry.
for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

For the price I think they are worth a try. The front definitely rises quicker with these shocks compared to the old C/E 3 ways. It's not a fair comparison though, since we've gone to heim jointed uppers and strut bars. These also take some of the binding away compared to poly bushes. Hopefully the weather will hold out over here so I can actually try them this weekend. I'll post if theres any improvements.

Ron,don't judge them until you try them out! Everyone's car handles different. They were a BIG improvement over BOTH the CE 3-Way,and Lakewood 90/10 shock! Also..they're fine on the street! And our streets up here SUK!!! RandyB
I gotcha, I should know May 8th when I run a local Moapr race. I just have the cheap summit 3-way adjustables on it now. they have been on there for a few years.
Thanks

I changed from CE 3ways to calvert 90/10 just because I thought they would be better. I wish I would have saved my money.Mike
IMO..nothing at all wrong with the 3 way CE's at all, i agree with you. The adjustments on them actually adjust( if that makes sense).
I went 9.80's with a 1.34 60 foot with them on leafs with my ex car, they work just fine
