God what you guys put me through!

Ok,pay attention. If you have a 3 nub wheel there is a pronounced ring at the bottom of the nubs.Exactly the diameter of the early small caps.Drill a hole ot the bottom of each nub right on the ring.Tap and use a 10/32 oval head machine screw.Run the screw down tight then back it off just enough to catch the rim of the cap.Snap the cap on and your done.If you have a wheel with 4 nubs then space three holes evenly around the ring and you will get the same results.Don't try with four holes, you will never get the cap centered. Now see how easy that was?

Also, tomorrows sometimes don't come tomorrow!

epoxying caps together i heard of several years back and apparently some folks are successful. using screws i haven't seen before, but still a good idea. do i have to step up to the plate, take a picture or two and show my big idea? how many tomorrows do i get?
