I bought this yesterday from the original owner, who spec's it out. I knew of the car for 5 years and randomly stopped by the owner's house on Saturday. He showed me the car and gave me a firm asking price, which I immediately agreed to. It is a 78K mile car with original 383, 2bbl, auto, 8 3/4 SG, and aftermarket A/C. The trunk and floorpans have ZERO rust. The right fender has a ding and the right quarter was damaged and repaired over twenty years ago and could used some attention. Mechanically, it needs a coil and brakes. I got the original title from 1969 and the check used to pay for it ($2788. XX). What do you think?

I will be keeping it original except for wheels/tires and maybe a 4bbl upgrade. I plan to get it up and running ASAP and use it for cruising around town. My 70 Barracuda is quite awhile from being on the road, so I really want something to drive around.

I have to admit some ignorance-this is my first B-Body. The fenders are badged with "Belvedere" but the owner said it was a Satellite. The title just says 1969 Plymouth so I just went with what the owner said. I figured that the Satellite and Belvedere were synonymous.......oops!
The engine bay and fender tag are super clean. I don't think the engine or fender tag have ever been out of/off the car. I have not searched for the BC yet.....

No ignorance at all, we learn something new every day. There were no Coupe (B-pillar post with pop out quarter windows) Satellites or GTX's, only Belvederes and Road Runners. If the Vehicle Identification Number starts out as RL21, then it's a Belvedere. I had a black/black one, wish I still had it.

My bad on not picking up that it's a Belv... guess the brain doesn't engage too quickly these days.
1 of 33... Yep, that's a rare one!
Wonder what the story is from the orig. owner. Special order?
