Pictures are coming Andy. I spent all day with Bluebird. Cleaned out the gas tank, replaced 8 plugs, dialed in the carb, wiped all the overspray off the glass, played with the windows and sunroof, and filled the dumpster with trash. Pretty productive day,now it runs like a top. Radio,defog,roof,A/C and the windows all seem to work

Tom, Andy told me about the car in a phone call today, congrats on the find and the condition of it, it sure sounds like a sweet car..... By the way, where are the pics, I just had to ask, I need to laugh a little tonight....

That's pretty neat stuff. Especially like the part where workers were glad to see it go. Can't wait to see pics of it...great story too. Congrats!

Without pictures this thread is really starting to turn lame.
Should have been the first thing posted before the heart tugging story and high fives.

There was one that looked just like that sitting around here outside next to a shed for years. I drove by it 2 or 3 times a week for close to 10yrs, but never stopped because I wasn't really interested in that Gen RR. Finally about 4yrs ago I decided to stop just for the heck of it... and it was gone.
Oh well... who knows what happened to that one, but it was getting pretty rusty and full of tree branches

No it wasnt a factory car but was installed right after buying it. Its a 69 A-12 intake and carbs that the guy bought off a wrecked car at a junkyard in detroit.
I sold the car and kept the intake.
