Rear diff installation into housing - RTV sealant or permatex ? Also: I'm certain with my HD leaf springs (JC Whitney) my back-end's gonna be higher than I want it, also using the 3/4 relocation kit so I'm limited to adjustments on either end - how can I lower ride height ? Thanks

Either gasket or RTV.

I'd wait and see what it looks like after the springs settle in. Then worry about it.

with Stumpy on the ride height.

As for the sealant.I use Permatex Right Stuff.
Nothing else.No gasket necessary.
My mechanics at my work swear by it.It costs a little more but saves a lot of headaches.
I attended the training seminar and was amazed how well this product works.
