dang Raff that has to suck. get well and get busy but no more falling. us old geezers don't heal real fast
And gravity isn't your friend anymore either. At 51 , I am starting to feel old nearly as much as I feel young and dumb. Once that ratio inverts , I will officially start to worry. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Didn't hear you fell off the ladder, must have kept that quiet. When I first seen that picture of that piece of crap ladder you were using I wondered if you would make it through the construction build. Hope you recover ok , take it easy and throw that ladder away.
Actually I have a pretty good ladder but the thing is we think we can reach that extra foot to the side... and in most cases you MIGHT be able to BUT in some cases you cant..... for the extra minute it takes to come down move it over and back up its just not worth it........ now I say that...... no one ever called me brillant

No I didnt get out to the track... just got out of the hospital from having shoulder surgery yesterday, I messed up both of them when I fell off the ladder when I was building my shop... I grabbed a beam on the way down and tore up the left one and then also grabbed the ladder and tore up the right one.... at least I didnt hit the concrete with my head and break the concrete... LOL he took out a pretty big chunk of a broken bone that was sort of just laying in there.... oh well, hopefully its better now........... sucks getting OLD.

Best of luck.
I'm almost 2 weeks out of surgery on my Rt shoulder, SLAP tear. I got another 2 weeks to go with this cumbersome sling/immobilizer apparatus while the weather gets warmer and I have a blown up car in the garage waiting for me to heal before I fix it..
I feel for you!

When I built my garage, I had the ladder on a slope and was 13ft up nailing soffit; overreached and the ladder went...didn't want to get my legs caught on the ladder( amazing how fast the brain works at this point), so I kicked away and landed legs bent to cushion the fall and almost went completely to the ground...stood up amazed everything working and felt a breeze... blew the whole rearend out. Glad to hear you're on the mend!
Yeah, it's got a smallblock.
