So Mike,
Who's the car for and does he think he got a shot at the title?
You're safe, Eddie!
Someone dragged up this thread from the past, when JP and I were kicking around ideas on what to do with the V code orange Challenger. There is that other FAST motor I was gathering parts for, but that looks like I am going to tame it down and put into the black V code 70 R/T.

Did a factory Hemi N94 hood have the 426HEMI emblem installed on the hood, as shown in the el Hemi pictures, from the factory?
Here's a possibly unanswerable question: If the Hemi N94 had an emblem, any ideas whether a 440-6 hood would have had 440-SIXPACK emblems on the N94 hood, if they had been made?
Any evidence turn up since the last time this thread was around for a factory 440-6 N94 Challenger?

Thanks for the info. I am planning out a 440 Six Pak Challenger build, and I'd like it to look as though it would if it had been built by the factory. Except for some larger wheels.
And I love the paint job. Very 70's. If the Mod Squad had had a Challenger, that's what it would have looked like.

I love the vintage paint job.
Did it come with the T/A hood from the factory?
Nobody knew or cared about codes back in the 1970's...at least not me at the time. It was however a factory R code Hemi, 4 spd, super track car...I knew that much! I bought the car in 1973 with a tunnel ram and aftermarket fiberglass hood installed. It also came with the factory T/A hood, hinges, T/A hood springs and the odd looking Hemi air cleaner in the trunk. I installed a Mag cross ram and bolted the T/A hood back on, I never used the OEM air cleaner. It may be in the attic somewhere...will have to look.

I did not save the VIN number info, I bought it in 1973 and sold it in 1979 to a John Moreno. The car turned up for sale in the late 1990's in Canton/Livonia MI area...someone did a backyard attempt on an "Alston" frame installation...not so good. Maybe somone on Moparts knows where the car is now, it had "Purple Haze" on the doors.

Here is another pic that I found of an R code T/A hooded Challenger in western Canada back in the mid 1970's, has anyone seen this car? I don't have the Tag info to document....
That license plate doesn't look like one from any of the four western provinces. Any chance of getting a closer pic. of the plate? The only T/A hooded Challenger out in these parts back in the mid 70's to early 80's was a 71 340 Challenger convertible that was curious yellow with a black top and interior. A guy in south Calgary owned if for years.

That car could be Rick Olczak's Hemi Challenger from La Belle province...looks like a Quebec plate. Rick owned it since new or almost new and I was always told that it was a factory TA hooded Hemi Challenger. Haven't seen or heard from him in years since he moved from Quebec. Dwight, I have pictures of that 340 Challenger convertible with the TA hood and was told it was added, but then again that is just what I was told.

Terry: The biggest, and only problem with that 71 340 convertible was, no fender tag or sheet. So it was basically his claim that it had the hood from the factory. I don't think anyone has seen the car in more than 20 or 30 years.

This car was first raced in Quebec by Tommy Mullin , after that it was owned by president of the CCOA ( Challenger Cuda Owners Association )Rick Olczak from Lachute now it belongs to R,Bolduc near Sherbrooke Quebec , and it is still in the condition you see in that picture ...i will post a picture of the car then ( tommy Mullin ) and now in it's present state.....
