What happens if the block doesn't have the mounting holes "B", but only the lugs "A"?
And if you use the Schumacher mounts?

I guess what I'm asking is, does mounting in the A-body have to be with the two front mounting holes or can it be mounted using the lug location?

Which location does Schumacher use?

The schumacher mounts use the lugs, I have them on my 69GT with a 440.

I want to thank everyone for their replies. With everything I already had info on, plus your input, I'm a lot more prepared to start.
A million thanks.

Also on the 383 blocks the rear motor mount boss is shaved off so it cannot be used on any other Mopar... Just went through Sebring about an hour ago, youse guys get WAY too much rain for my taste!

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

The natives tell me this is the worst winter in 30 years. Still beats shovelling, though...
