dirt pro stock Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 1,349 warfordsburg, PA	i had a 400 block and sold it. so the 400 has a bigger bore than a 440? and would fit a little better in a A body ,that sounds like a pretty good deal! what would a shop normally charge to turn a 440 crank to use in a 400?

Could you have stroked it to 3.90 and made it a 470? Neat-0 motor build for sure.
