Still blue though Not much else to speak of other then we mocked it up to measure the piston to valve clearence to see how much we could mill off the heads. Looks like we can take enough off to get the chamber down to araound 72cc's and get the compression up to 11 to 1. Should be a serious step up from 8.6 to 1

With your bulge hood what heads & intake were you previously running this past year? If you didnt have the hood scoop would it still clear with just the buldge hood? Now with your new head/intake combo will you still have the clearance or will you have to change or modify your hood or hood scoop? thanks, Doug

I think I've asked you this before but can't remember. Bob, you did mention that before. I have enough trouble keeping 1 carb in tune. May 14 2010? Tha last motor was dark ford blue. This color is 1970 AMC big bad blue.

We also took .033 off one deck and .031 off the other. As of yet we haven't taken anything off the heads but it is in the plan. I think he was saying we could take about .070 off and still clear the pistons with the valves.
