Hey B body guys, Please answer a question for me.

I am looking at buying a 68 Charger that has no seats, door panels and possibly kick panels. Could you tell me what parts are compatible with other B's? I am likely to buy new panels but the seats are a real question.

Thanks,

Lindy

seat frames are the same as any other 68 B Body. Same as most any 69 B Body. Charger has upper door panels that are padded. Thats charger alone. There are aftermaket companies suppling them. Kick panels are the same 68 to 70

The car probably has bucket seats. I think they are easier to find than a bench seat. I bought a couple of 68 Cornets for parts and two of them had bucket seats in them. Seats do seem to be expensive though. Check ebay. I have never sold any seats but I know ebody seats are high$$$. They do make real nice repops of the upper door pads. If that was all you were missing, I would no let that stop me from buying it.

My 68 Charger didnt have a bench. It had buckets with a buddy seat. Ive never seen a 68-70 Charger with a solid bench

The base XH model '70 Charger had a standard bench seat....along with painted upper door frames (no pads)

Thats the first charger i've ever seen with a bench seat and no upper door pads. Interesting indeed

Strange things in the Mopar world. Never say never. The one 68 4 dr parts car that I bought has bucket seats and a buddy seat with the arm rest. It does not have the latch assembly to fold it forward to enter the back seat of a two door, they are fixed.

ahhh that's why my 70 has no holes for the door uppers! Mine has 6-way buckets, no buddy seat column shift. Now I have to figure out to get the door uppers on.

Go figure that my 70 R/T had a column shift 440, with stock 391s and buckets with a buddy seat and drum brakes all around with a luggage rack.
