the original owner made them,,,they were on top,,,but he put a cap on so he moved them to the side,,,I almost took em off when I restored the truck,,,but I like the way they look,,,I guess they were for tie downs or hand rails

hey Joe... What ever happen to that Valiant you were doing?? oh ya by the way truck looks nice and were ya been hidding??? don,t hear from you much. Sam and I are working on flights to Rics Place for July Iam havin a hell of a time getting into PA from here at a decent time. so far it looks like I will have to leave weds night the 5th of july to arrive in PA in the AM of the 6th other than that I will get in PA at 11.30 pm no matter what air line I take    oh I see 1 more post and Iam at 400

just been workn my tail off,,,,I got rid of that valiant,,,the firewall and some other areas were rotted away,,,I did keep the motor,trans,floor console auto,steering column and buckets for the 66 Valiant,,not gonna start that till next summer,,,this Valiant is cherry,,,and I'm actually out of major projects right now and luvn it,,,doin the dash for the truck now,,then I just gotta get the seat recovered and that should be it on the truck
