My V code black R/T is coded for steelies and dogdishes and I want to pull them together but I want to go with the new L60 'glas shoes out back.

I agree. Unless you could get it with a station wagon or was part mandatory tire for a towing group?
I bet nearly the same or more 70-71 cars came with 450's than 72-74 came with optional G60-15' Polyglass.
But then there is supply and demand.

....yes but a 070 sells at 1/14th the price of a 450.
....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!

I believe the above statement to be true.
How many have ever seen or owned a set of 070's. I would value a nice clean original paint 070 at closer to 1/3rd the price of a 450 wheel than 1 14th, which I hope Troy meant to type as 1/4.

The 070 wheel is close , but it is still a 15 inch center in a 15 x 7 band. Where as the 450 wheel is a 14 inch center in a 15 x 7 inch ralley wheel band ( dropped center band ). Yes the repop 450 wheels can be made , finding the right 14 inch center is the hardest part for me. Frank

Sorry, but that is incorrect. The 070 has the same 14" center section. I have both 450 and 070s and there is no visible difference between the two outside of the part number and dates.
