Sitting here bored and it's cold out so I thought that I would post some pics of this '65 Plymouth front fender repair job. Both fenders on this car are very nice overall and just have the typical lower dog leg rust. Both sides were full of some sort of fine grain silt and the inner brace's were full of this junk about 10" up from the bottom. Sadly the brace was rusted out as well as the outer skin which complicated things. Enjoy!

without seeing quicksilvers work in person you just can't appreciate it. he did the fenders for my 65 dodge and all i can say is wow. He is definately an asset to the mopar community

Wow, great work. However, I would like to ask some questions. First,what is hammer welding? Second, what is your secret for getting such small welds, were you using a mig? and lastly,in one of your last welds your sanding marks showing where the new panel and old fender are now one, what did you use to smooth out or sand down the welds. Im teaching myself to weld and do body work so I am asking a lot of questions hoping to get better.
