i got my pistons from ROSS in my newest motor about 2yrs ago for around 550 custom made and coated.....But i also ran cast pistons in my old short block for 3yrs at 7psi and never hurt anything...that was at 8.5-1 and really rich all the time and not a lot of timing
-Are you using that carb in the pic? if so your goin to need to source a Double pumper
Start goin to TurboMustangs.com there is a lot of info on there and a huge turbo mopar forum

what iron heads are those? my chambers are polished to 95cc's so my .060 in the hole wiseco blower pistons are 8.5cr.
the heads are a set of 346 castings so i would say a big combustion chamber also????

It takes big RPM to get turbos to make boost
it surprises me that with a screen name like yours you would post something like this that is 100% false. no naturally aspirated engine will develop the torque a turbocharged one will at lower rpm. it doesn't take rpm to make a turbo run it takes hot exhaust gases and they can be had at lower rpm. it's all a matter of having the turbo properly matched to the engine. the real problem with stock rods and pistons would be handling the increased HP a turbo will make not necessarily the rpm.
That statement surprised me also, specially from a guy that builds pressurized set ups.... I think someone got some bad info ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)
