That that would get your attention! How about double adjustable AFCO shocks retailing for $299 and singles, including the new Reactor series that I am using on the front of mine, retailing for $199. Strange and QA1 have a new player in their price range.

As always, you can buy them from me and I am happy to pass on a deal to any of my Moparts buddies. Also worth mentioning that they now offer a stock mount replacement radiator for B and E bodies as well.

I have used and like Afco products, but I would have to wonder what has happened that allows the prices to be dropped. My concern would be production being moved offshore or quality compromised. I hope neither of these has happened. Anybody know?
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Or... somebody at AFCO finally saw the impact of the current economic situation and decided their profit margins could be sliced some in order to make their product more price competitive.

Well, that wouldn't be an American way to do business these days. Everybody knows you have to send production to China in order to stay in business. At least that's what the CEO's keep claiming as they cash their $10M bonuses.

Addition of onsite CNC equipment helped a bunch. Current economic conditions also helped. However, there was a common theme they picked up on from talking to the racers. "AFCO stuff is great but I can't afford it" was heard alot and they listened. That being said, if they don't sell more shocks, they lose money. The impression I was given is the hope is that increased volume will make up for the lost margin. They are calling it their economic stimulous package
I'm glad to hear they lowered their price... they were too pricey for me... but I would love to try them

So, I was RIGHT.
