That wagon is awesome! What's your complete engine & drive train combo?

Sounds like you need a jerico.

Thanks.
my current clucth is old Hays Long model race adj.pressure plate, with Ram single sintered iron disc 10,5" and Mcleod hydraulic throw out bearing.

Wagons engine is basic staff bb 400 block with rb crank Edl. Victor heads.Tremec TKO 600 and Strange 9"with 4:30 gear.Suspension is original only side links rear and leaf springs moved 3"in rear.

Jerico would be nice but i like that overdrive and I dont race so much and i always use clucth, no power shifting

When you say no powershifting, do you even mean no planting your foot on the gas while clutching as well? thats the traditional method of powershifting as far as i know

anybody else out there care to share their experiences? also, is an 18 spline box that much better than a 23? More tko guys with good results would be great to hear about as well- i mean if pade is doing it in a massive wagon, im sure there are others as well

Yes, thats power shifting. My car is so heavy and i am so close the limit for this transmission so i rather lose some time then broke tha trans.
Years a go i broke one Jerico when i did power shifting and clutch link where lose so there were no clucth release and full throtle shift.

anybody else have any opinions on this?

pade your reasoning makes sense....when you broke that jerico, was it on the 2-3 shift?
