No bumpsteer. Ackerman is off, but still driveable on the street. Some one said, there is a company that makes a front steer ball joint with ackerman corrected. I haven't found it yet....
Edit......
I noticed I didn't put the updated pic of the tie rod end. There is actually a 2" spacer in between the steering arm and heim now to remove bump steer....

hey hemi fred, so the secret to fixing the geometry is to use b- body ball joints on it. i guess you swap sides with them also ? would it be easier to use a motor plate and make a k member or just cut mine up to fit ? also heard someone say e-body balljoints fix the problem too ?

Stock K frame with the same setup...and yes, mine as his was RHD...
A buddy of mine with a '68 Charger R/T with a Hemi in it is running the same setup, but using a power rack.
Very common swap, been done in Oz for years using a Holden rack which gives no bump steer issues, etc.
What model Holden? & what coupler to the stearing column any info thanks. drag345

VK Tie rod ends and all are just right! And used a stardard Holden steering coupler, shortened in the middle abit
You do have to swap the lower steering shaft in the steering column to Holden too, or the entire one if you machine a circlip groove in the top for the bearing.

Thanks for that just the info I have been looking for . just have to see if it will fit with my home made 17/8" 4into1 extractors. just one more? any idea how much weight the rack saves over the cast iron steering box? Thanks drag345

I never weighed it all... I actually have the steering box and all the linkage out of my Charger still and a setup out of another VJ I wrecked too around...and have a couple Holden racks around The racks are easy to get to, but the steering box and stuff is kind of buried
My K frame was from Paul Norris by the way
I just got the K frame from him, then a rack and steering joint plus column shaft and put it all together over here.
Here is the coupler mod I did (got a couple extra couplers, just incase )

The answer is no. My front uses all factory parts other than the rack.my spindles are from an early disc brake I think by Kelsey . the lower arms do not fit on later spindles
Fred looks like the lower balljoint arm got A little hot at one time for the push toward the tire

the link i posted used to have a nice section that explained what ackerman angle was and why it was important.when ball joints are swapped side tot side on mopars this ackerman angle gets out of wack
