I wanted to use a cap with the male style HEI type terminals because I feel that has a more positive wire connection than the oem Mopar cap/wire set up. But from the looks of it, it's just going to be too costly to get a distributor with that style cap. So I will just go with the stock oem design.

The headers I'm using are a well used set of truck headers, so I'm sure whatever adjustments needed have already been done.

Thanks for the responses!

with it on the stand and the header hanging

now would deff be the time to mock it up and do any dimple work to the tubes, checking clearance on the plug wires and plugs

you will see if its been clearanced already, may need a little adjustments

what would have come in them stock from mopar when put in a MH chassis anyways?

I cant find nobody to look them up for it,I have to tell them its got AL23s cant seem to cross them either

guess I will dig out the 77 chilton book and look for tune up specs

Mocking up the headers sounds like a good idea. I will probably do that sometime before it goes in for sure. First, I'm going to sand them down and paint with some hi-temp paint.

As far as what came in them from the factory, I would assume that would be the RV12YC Champions that was mentioned earlier. Those are the plugs I will be using.
