So...I've got a 69 340/4 spd bench seat Dart....can that comb be competitive and what class would it run? I'm tossing around the idea of letting Larry Gilley build it(seems he did pretty well at the Autolites) and teaming up and letting campaign it.

Yes, the 340 darts can be plenty competitive.

'69 340 would fall in E/S or F/S I believe. I think the 340 has been doing well there.

I agree. The 68-70 avs 340's refactored to 299hp are still very competitive. Thats what I run in the 'Cuda. Mark

I'll find some pics of the car....I have been trying to buy it for over 20 years...it was parked in 1974 with a broken piston.I finally got the call.....and bam...it was done....the price was stupid cheap but he's an old family friend.
