It was a 2bbl motor, so in the 9:1 neighborhood. Wearing a holley 750 and an RPM intake, with a Delta .496 hyd. cam and a set of used headers, it went 13.73 @ 101. I flogged that 383 to 6400 RPM, and it never missed a beat. held 40 psi of oil pressure until the day it came out. LemonWedge - Street heavy / Strip ready - 11.07 @ 120

OP said completely stock bottom end like pulled right out of aold mope! My NOS rollers have 114 lobe sep.That helps a ton.The Max wedge heads are cut a mile.So it has some compression.
