That is correct, I asked NHRA tech once what is the lowest allowed and they said it could be touching the ground if you want - there is no rule, it is just what your car can manage without problems... I'll measure mine when I get home Fred...

Just a hair under 4" on mine. Frame rail is 3.5".

Drop the car down so its on the lower control arms
and give it a 1/2" extra clearance for flex(might
want to take the lower stops off or use 1/2 of that
stop distance) then add the 1/2".... JMO

5", with a Steff's pan that extends 2" below the k frame.

On the Charger it's 2.5" with the wet sump and 3" with the dry sump pan. Remember you need to add the 1" or so for he diaper. My diaper is about a 1/4" off the ground.

I've got almost a foot between the pan and the ground.

But only 3" from the pan to the axle...
