No I wish it was a J code car..... its a L code

If it was a J code I'd be afraid to drive it! It would be my luck some schumk would hit and I'd have to kill em but on the other had its not like you see a million Coronet R/T's every day either.

Nice! Are you going with redlines, steel wheels and hubcaps? What kind of exhaust system?

I think I'm gonna go with widened steelies, but I'm not quite sure yet, but I am gonna go with headers and 3in TTi exhaust system and hooker Aero chambers to stock tips, I LOVE those muffers.

I'm not a purest by ANY stretch of my imagination. I love performance over stock

Seeing all these Coronet R/T's is really getting me excited!!
I'm in the process of doing a '69 R/T.....F8, deluxe interior, stripe delete. I like the stripe so much, not sure if I want to keep it original, or put a stripe on it??? Progress has slowed since winter has set in, Keep the pics comin...and updates on resto!!
I love these cars!!

Boy that RT Ragtop looks like Darren Ludingtons car from south FLA.....

B5a12bee, that is your old car as kidsixpack stated. Rick owned that car (Mr.NormsTA) and he used to own my Bahama Yellow A12 road runner too. He has had alot of cool a12 cars.

That B5 bee my brother has is cool, but I sure miss the r4 Coronet R/T convert. It is supposedly getting restored....

Just a plug here....

If you have a STL built R/T, especially one of the convertibles, I'd appreciate knowing about it. I've found info on over 50 of the 69 R/T verts.

There was at least one if not two early runs of similarly equipped Y2 convertibles that appear to be dealer demos or press cars.

Thanks
