I have a 4150 holley on my 440 and was trying to use a cheapo chrome fuel line and when installed the inlet is almost smashed right up against my distributor. Does anyone know of a fuel line that will work in this case? I would run two braided liens but im trying to keep this kind of stock looking. Really was trying to stay away from AN fittings and braided line. Thanks!

On mine I flipped the "t" to the carb around (so it faces the firewall) and ran hard line from the mechanical pump along the frame rail (basically reversing the path of the tank-to-pump line and then went up the firewall and connected.
Its very sanitary. Never near the distributor.

I was going to do that, but i would think the line would be close to the header?

flip the line backwards, make the inlet towards the back of the carb not the front. Like this, but do a better job w/ the line than I did. That was a rush job.

I have braided line to each bowl from a Y on the valve cover. I can remove either fuel bowl at will with out removing a fuel line for jet changes. Make it real nice not to have to take off the fuel log.

I went with the Fabulous Fabrications fuel line on my old 440 and plan to again soon. His stuff is quality, cheap, and fits right the first time!

My only issue with his stuff is it is patterned after a factory Chevrolet fuel line for any engine originally equipt with a dual feed Holley...

I could care less about losing a tenth of a point at Pebble Beach. It's a flawless fit and it makes tight radius turns with no crimping. He also has the right 45 degree bend from the carb inlet to avoid jamming it up against the manifold.
Best of all, he avoids that torturous route behind the dizzy and it STILL lines up to the stock gas filter.

AOL personal web pages have been shut down for over a year or so now. I google'ed it and couldn't find anything either. I do like the look of the setup but have my own pipe bender, cuter, flare tool, and pipe so.... el'cheapo version here I come.
