Does anyone have a good source/recommendation for the red paint used on the heavy duty brake drums?
Thanks Matt
check in your local auto parts store. They'll have 'high temp caliper paint' which I imagine would work fine on drums. You can get it in a brush on style or rattle can style. Dont know if it will look exactly like the paint from the factory but it does come in red.

We went down this road about a year ago.... ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/runaway.gif) I have a '68 HEMI roadrunner with full wheel covers with 15X6 JK wheels. It had painted drums on it new. I can only guess.. assembly line workers used what was available to keep production on schedule.
