Looking good.  Won't be long till it will run and not be a smokn440.  The only smokn it will be doing is smoking the tires.

not much left now,,,exhaust and carb and dist.,,,,,,all I have is this old squarebore edelbrock thats been on it with an adaptor plate,,,was hoping to buy a holley spreadbore for it but they seem to be out of production,,,been calling all around,,,,anyone have any suggestions,,,

I'd run a TQ if it were me. You can try your luck with a parts store brand or pick up a core and send it to holley custom shop. You can't beat a TQ if it is working right!

ok,,,,everything is bolted,tightened and filled,,,,,tommorrow is carb and distributor and fire it up,,,put the stock intake on,,,gonna run a square bore and plate for now,,,,when i do get a correct carb  ,,,i wont havta change the manifold again
