Chris you are doing an awesome job as usual. The car will look awesome in that color. I think what you are doing is a great tribute to your dad. For those of you that have never met Chris's dad he is a super nice guy.

Thanks Donald , my dad thinks of all of my friends as his friends and even as his kids. I hope his car turns out as good as youre did. I feel obligated to put up a before and after picture of your car,if you don't mind.For those of you who do not have the good luck of knowing Donald, he is my best friend and I helped him with a "quick repaint " on his 69 dart.here is where we started...we cut the qtrs off this car(guess the car and win a prize)

sorry, I think my reference was a little obscure. That dart post car used to be a really fast smallblock car and was featured in and on the cover of Mopar collectors guide. Strange where they turn up,huh?

Actually the paintjob was done in Donald's shop where he works.They have a towyard and a repair shop.We just wet down the floor and let it fly! Tried not to blow and of the dust off the roof joists or the walls.

sealed and then first coat of color around 6:00,second coat of color and then the "mystery coat"...

BTW- door striker is out,the door fits much better than it looks in this pic.

we have 2 paintbooths at the shop and so I had the car in one booth and the hood,decklid and other parts in the other.still didn't get them all painted,go figure.

This was a long day and hard work and Seamus came over and mixed paint and helped me in every way while I was spraying the car.This guy is solid gold and couldn't have done it without him .
