"Mopar isn't one of Larry's sponsor's now, so I don't see why he'd need to mention them at all."

Spoken like a true yuppie. No one gets any credit unless there is a check attached.

Look, Larry is a good guy...he always has been. I got to know him a little bit back in 1982 when he beat me at Maple Grove, he was driving a Rod Shop 4 speed Challenger that flat flew. Congrats, Larry....but, MoPar was still sending him blocks and heads while he was stinking the joint up every week. I know he's going to be in a Ford...and I wish him well. But, Mopar took care of him when they would have been perfectly justified to dumping him years ago. And, they did help him big time with his r&d program. So, a little gratitude would be in order.

Not even close to what I was trying to say. I don't hear every Pontiac racer mention GM in every interview. It just seems unnecessary.

That may very well be in their lease agreement.

i hear that's standard procedure. jones would not have gotten that far without that engine. get it?

I think most of you are looking at ths from the wrong perspective.

If I was Jones, I would have wanted to go out there and do my best to beat him with my OWN motor. If I did not beat him with my own motor then I feel I would not deserve to win. Maybe I could have tree'd him or maybe he might have spun a litle or whatever. But I would have beat him fair and square.

Neither one will be in a "mopar" next year, so I doubt either cares much about the brand at the second to the last race.

The obvious dive by Humphreys is against the rules. Stevie Wonder could see that.

An obvious dive would have been to push the clutch in at 1000ft.! He screwed up, If that was an obvious dive, I supopose Hector obviously took a dive to Andrew in the bike final???

If Edwards is gonna lease more engines next year, Cagnazzi better get him on the phone now!

If Humphreys had not red lighted bad, then Greg would have had to been late, and then being late and Humphreys pushing the clutch in would have been more obvious. In my opinion.
