smokn440 super street S Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 390 Hawaii	well,,,made it to the machine shop yesterday,,,,gonna be 8 to 10 weeks before i see my motor again,,,in Hawaii that means about 12 weeks,,,,but that will give me plenty of time to finish the engine bay,,,I just look at Rics and get inspired,,now just gotta find a reliable tranny shop and get it there

Have Four 1979 dodge PALOMINO trucks now.

Must have a hard time finding lava rocks hard enough to hone that 440 block. really though that does seem long but if their putting the engine together also that may be about right. Man that brings back memories,1 down 1 to go.your eng compartment looks as rough as my 77 did,well it is just a truck.lol. Joe as far as a gasket set, I couldn't find one,had to be nice to it.if you do find one let me know.
