Shorter tire [33.5]on the "bird" netted some nice gains. I ran 3 new bests today in the blazing heat. First was a 4.963 in the 1/8 ran it out the back for another new best of 7.79! Then on my 3rd pass had a best 1/8mph of 141.73!! It is proving to be an awesome bracket car, runs 2-4 were 7.84, 7,85 and 7.85! I had hopes of turning on the nitrous today but did not. Timing retard did not seem to work but while driving home I realized why? The start rpm was set to 2500 and we were checking it at idle!duh That's cool, will test with some nos next weekend. Oh, and the biggest thrill of my day was pulling the laundry for the very first time!! What rush, almost more fun then racing, almost!!

Their will be some very fast door cars there.
The cut-off last year was: 7.252 @ 186.28

I am in the show, it is called the Tournament of Champions. I clearly stated earlier has a max dial of 7.60 I will battle it out with 35 other T/S champions on SUNDAY!
There is also the last Sportsman National race on friday which is all run, perhaps that's what you were illuding too?
Question: I calculate 56 possible entrants in Top Sportsman for the TOC...??? So how does this work for a 35 car field without qualifying if more than 35 cars are entered...or maybe I've got it all wrong which could be a strong possibility

Tournament Champions = 14

Yeah my initial count was wrong  and I'm sure some of these event winners are also in the division top 3 number or may have doubled up some where? I still may not have it right....seems confusing
