The cage is pro stock inspired most of them are bare, and we all know what piles of junk those are

With the swings in temp around here I have condensation problems in the garage and in the trailer. A bare cage would be rusted in a month without paint. Good luck with it, looks some very nice work.

Try that in florida

I agree with ya Jim

Car looks great

Car looks awesome....wipe the cage down with OSPHO and it won't rust and look awesome ta'boot

Now go race that thing

Hey Bill, I had a great time with you Steve & Ted. Below is a link of photos that I took yesterday. I will make you a full file photo disc and leave it with Rob / RJ Fabrication . Your car is badd ass and I believe that you have a 9 second car that you can have tea & crumpets while driving down the strip. Anyway, I think that you are a great guy and wish you all the luck.

Bill, allot of guys use WD-40 but I use Boeshield T9 on my 1948 Austin Devon's cage/chassis and will on my 71 Nova when it is complete. It is not oil based and does not attract dust like WD does. I understand that most top fuelers use Boeshield.

WOW! Bill, I think that bigdad is on to something. Gibbs sounds great! I might change from the Bosheild to the Gibbs.

Hey bigdad, how long have you been using Gibbs and what time frame between applications? With Boshield I have to re apply it every 6 mos to a year...

In Socal, you might be able to go a couple years , maybe more ..

People have reported many cases of 5 plus years without retreating

Try it , you will be sold, guranteed.

Why not just cleat coat the cage? Still have the stock look but have a tough protected top coat?
