I had one of these before as well was nice for the money. I got the new 6al2 programable ignition in my car. Works great.

I must have good luck with ignition systems?
Been running my 6AL for 15-years. Once I thought it was going bad, but I had gotten water in the magnetic pickup connector. Dried it out and it runs fine. My friend has the MSD Digital6, and he originally had the magnetic pickup wires hooked up wrong and it would try to fire, but would not run right. We reversed the pickup wires and it runs fine now. The Digital6 is supposed to deliver more power to the coil than the 6AL also.
I have also ran the Crane HI-6 with no problems.

My 6 AL has been in for probally 8 years and never a problem.My kid has the digital in his 62.Id get it over the AL as it has built in rev limiter etc.Much nicer piece and not that much more.His has been in 3 years and works perfect also.Rocky
