Yep! The car's paint was to fresh to put the stripe on. The tag doesn't show the stripe, but it was on the car back to the late 90's per a couple photos on the web. I agree with MikeR. The car looks meaner  without the stripe. I have one, but just don't know if I want to put it on?

Nothing to it. This only took me 5 weeks to get from this to this(next four photos). Although, according to Dave C. and MikeR the paint wasn't dry yet.
Your car really looked good that weekend, If I have time I will try to bring mine up to snuff - but I'm thinking more like 3 months ...If I start on mine I won't know where to stop! Might end up being a full-blown resto and I'm not sure if I want that.

Storage concerns I have worked out. It's the 'delivery" part that I haven't been able to figure out yet.

As it turns out I may get to lug my beater out there, just need to find a trailer. And a tarp to park on to catch the rust flakes and oil drips.
I can't afford this.
