Cant we do a relay with all the members here for Jim????
I think that is an excellent idea. Here is what I will throw into the pot. Get the car somewhere in Iowa or alittle west (Dstyr) and I will get it to my place for storage and the next leg. Or get it to my place, and I can get it to the east IN. or OH area along I-80. Only problem Jim may have is that I would tow it as I would mine to Carlisle, Nats, etc. On an open trailer. Hey, it's an offer. At least that will get it 300-400 mile across the US.
Jim, of course you will be leaving the keys in it......

I will wear my Fender Tag on a chain around my neck.
If I offer you some free , will you bring the car? Pretty cool to have the second and third Road Runners next to each other. By the way, I don't want to live in your town of New Mexico

Ok, I'm in, at least for storage, but don't know about transporting it. Still have my dad's car in my garage. Hope he gets his can down here to make some progress on his car. I never thought he'd have so much other stuff to keep him busy in retirement.
Here's to dads!

Scott, that can't be a real A12 Runner, the fender tag is missing the "A12".
As Dave W. mentioned, it would be nice to see 4 of the first 6 A12 Runners built all together, at one time. I will work on Terry B. in Calgary to see if he would bring his original #5 car to the reunion.
You and Dave would have the number 2 and 3 cars and Terry and I would have the number 5 and 6 "H" code cars there. Terry and I have talked about getting our two cars together but have never got that far.
Maybe I could get number 7 car from Saskatoon and number 8 car from Calgary there as well. You never know.

The car needs paint before I would bring it, along with a bunch of small stuff. It would all depend on if I had time to do the car before July '09.
Nothing to it. This only took me 5 weeks to get from this to this(next four photos). Although, accoding to Dave C. and MikeR the paint wasn't dry yet.

with or without the stripe?
I like it without but it's not bad with the stripe either, maybe it's time for the stripe this year

Now I remember why Gary didn't put the stripe on.......Gary Fast-dry's paint hadn't set up, cure or was completely DRY by the time he took it to Carlisle. Then one too many naps later, well he kind of forgot..... Look here it is at Carlisle and it was still wet... MikeR
