I have no idea what color the base , hook etc. should be and if they were date coded and at what location. Can anyone offer any help. The car was assembled in early March of 1970

Thank you so much. The hook part number and the date coding link was extremely educational. Should the jack base also be date coded in a specific location ?

Nope, the date code is on the jack mechanism only. None on the base or hook.

Some of them have a U69 & U70 on the bases not a date code but a date....
