Landon - pm me when you are going , we can caravan down there . i recommend Eddyville to start with ( skip Humboldt). Its the same drive time anyway and Eddy is a NICE track. It takes me 1hr and 15 minutes to get there from dsm.(towing)

If you need some help on the car I could stop by sometime (my mom still lives in Ankeny - need to stop by there in the near future anyhow)

You can even come down in your daily driver and run true street / trophy to get a feel for the whole thing until the end of October. That way all you need is a battery that is mounted good , no leaks .
Just wear jeans and we will loan you a helmet - Tech is easy to pass.

Steve- dont know if Ill be back in town for the 31st. Tentatively going on a 3 week tour in Oct.

Planning for some racing on oct 3rd ..
Im still after a win this year- way too many semi-finals !

sounds good. my car's actually in colfax - have to commute to work on it guess i could take the lil mustang just to see what's up - race some stock hondas - i bet i could keep up with them . i was hoping i could run pure street with the plymouth as well, since it's mostly stock, but idk.

I just moved to Iowa last Oct. and have been to Humbolt Co. Dragway about six times this year. I am used to the tech at the track in Tucson and went prepared for the same here but, they are very lax and I can tell you they will not check your netural safety switch (it should work though for safety!). It is I belive a family owned/operated track and they kind of leave the safety stuff up to the indvidual. It's a fun place to go!!. I would also highly recomend Tri State also!
