Hotchkis TVS, 2/3 drop. Gonna do 1" blocks in the rear to level it out. Gotta see how the new setup sits first, since I'm shedding some weight off the front end, might need to cut a lil coil with the blocks.

If your springs are the originals, the problem may be due to their condition. When I put my 2"lca's on my 85 the original springs had so much sag that I was instantly bottomed out on the bump stops. Bought some stock replacement springs thru NAPA (this was in 97) and all was right w/the world lol.

And another. I had to jack up the bumper to remove the jack under the crossmember. Im going to have to cut the bump stop brackets( I have no bump stops on it) as well do to vertually no clearance and it bottoms out on them.

Do you have any bigger pics 76Dodgeboy?

My 87. Front coil springs from Coil Spring Specialties. Custom pair for $160. He took the engineering specs for a stock set and made it 2" shorter. Same spring rate, which is perfect for me. The ride/handling is just where I want it.

The only issue is I had a 1/2" sag on the driver's side before and after. Coil Spring Specalties is aware of this common problem. Sometimes they make a taller spring for the driver's side. They are willing to take my passenger side spring and fix it when I find the time to remove it and send it back.

The rear is the stock leaf spring stack dearched with an extra leaf under the main and a long pair of BellTech lowering shackles. This set up sucks bad. I have major wheel hop and wheelspin in the rain will knock my shifter out of 2nd.
Also sure I've ruined the load carrying capacity.

For the rear, I plan on grinding the rivets off the stock hangers and bolting them on the frame in a new spot to allow for a pair of Super Stock springs.

Ill try to get some bigger pics. I used my phone for the ones posted. nHave you thought about using chevy lowering shackles, I here they work very well(bolt in) and your spring rate stays the same.

Nice truck. Did you have the spindles made or did you modify some and what kind, are they available on the market. Thanks
