Moparcar, what year Challenger and auto or manual?
This has been about 3 months into the making.
Most of the time was waiting for the custom parts (radiator and fuel tank).
I am really tempted to forget doing the dash and a/c now and just go cruisng to see what this engine can do especially with this converter.
A 2007 Charger SRT8 with 4000+ lbs, 3.08 open rear with drive axles, shorty manifolds/headers, cat converters, 6200 rpm rev limiter can do low 13's high 12's it should certainly be able to do mid 12's in 3600lb Cuda w/ 3.23 sure grip, 9.5" converter, long tube headers and no cats

That is a great, great reference article and the pictures are awesome. I've got the same 6.1 3G factory crate engine in my garage for my Challenger and you just answered a lot of my questions that I've been pondering. Please keep us up to date on this swap and through your "testing" runs!
