What rear gear are you running?
BTW the OD ratio in the 700R4 is not as good as the .69 OD in an A-500 or 518.

Isn't Keisler doing that swap? I know they did an automatic setup.
There are a few Mopars running around with that tranny. It usually causes a stink around here due to the non-Mopar origin.

Yeah, i don't understand that. This is about hotrodding, experimenting and learning. I like all brands. They all have something to contribute IMHO. By the way, really like your car!

Impressive the 408 Magnum I have in my pickup has gotten as high as 17 mpg; in a 4400-lb truck that runs 13s, I'll take it!

Great work Dmerc. I've always had a feeling Tquads had potential. That cam is probably helping too. Does it run clean under 2000rpm?
Can't wait to see your before and after vacuum advance numbers too.
Is your comp ratio 10.5 or 8.5 to 1.
I've cracked 20 also. My 87 Ram, reg cab, shortbox has a 5.9 Magnum, 670 Holley, M1 dual plane, short headers. Then a 5 spd manual w 0.73 od and 3.55 gear and a 28" tire. Straight highway at just under 70 mph has returned 23 mpg. I'm pretty sure aero dynamics is my biggest roadblock in the quest for mileage.
